The APLUS wheelchair has a lightweight but strong aluminium frame, detachable armrests and footrests, and a backrest that can be folded down for convenient storage and transportation. The footrests can be swung away and come with a calf strap, while the armrests have holding loop frames and can be flipped up for easy lateral transfer. Safety features include anti-tippers, safety belt, assisted brakes and light reflectors on the rear wheels.
